Tot3W GuideAnother reference guide Im usingLittle site detailing the interior of this dungeon from Anarchy Online. Im interested in seeing if anyone would like to see this converted into Nw2 and places on the server. I will fully recreate the dungeon along with as many of the mobs as close as I can. Fully itemize the drops. And do all the detail work for placeables. This all hinges on Lou giving the OK for it to be on the server. However all work would be done by me and would be a plug and play area for him. Not making this a poll cause I want texted response. I personally don't really care about the maps and don't know anything about the mobs, but what I got from the intro sounds interesting. Powerful no drop items, requiring a specific key to gain entry (which would incidentally make an excellent dervish drop), and tough mobs requiring parties all sound interesting. Given the realities of NWN2 multiplayer, I'm not too fond of areas geared for parties, but 1 or 2 high end ones can be a way to spice things up IMO. Of course my goal will be to solo such areas, but that's part of the fun

Ive got the layout of the entrance completed. I have created 3 loyal cultists that will be randomly chosen from a spawn table to be places at somet 40+ locations up and down the hallways. I have created the Defender of the Three(work in progress for balancing). I started laying out the placeables that go into the area. All placeables will be static for the dungeon unlike the Unnamed Dungeon and the Summoner School. Ill get some screenshots of the area along with an xfire video when Ive completed the placeables.

Screen ShotsUploaded the SS as attachments to my forum. Im converting and uploading an Xfire Vid and will post a link when its done. If you will notice some of the corners arent there. This is due to the limits of the tileset. Im working on filling those gaps with placeables that look right. Might be in the second revisit to the area, but they will be "fixed" if I can make it look right. It in no way breaks any of the walkmesh it just happens to be distracting to me.

NEAT! MMT, my suggestion is that you customize and populate it in such a way that gives a reason to the layout. I'm not sure why anybody would build a place with that layout. Could it be a Yuan-ti, Gray-Orc, or Air Genasi location? Could it be such randomly just like you get random choice of two armies on the battlefield? Can placeables and effects be spawned in to dress the place up to it's occupant?

well the best way to explain the layout is that its places in such a way that the three winds flow into it. the fourth wind being the outlet for the three. Its occupants are of different races and backgrounds. They all come together to worship and study under their cult leader. Im not ruling out random effects/placeables. That will be on Lou if he wants to spice it up more. In AO its a rather plain wall and floor. However I could put some hanging tapestry in select places to make it a bit "brighter". The four areas in total will have a pretty diverse population once its all complete. And some new systems Lou added that havent really been used yet. Minions being one of them. The other is part of NESS that spawns said minions around a central boss and they die with the boss. Just things that never really were needed before this little side project.
I assure you NTB this will be an interesting place to go even if you just want to stroll down the halls killing cultists.

uploading todays work in the same thread as before. Map, creatures, items. This is still a WIP and will be changed as I add another set of mobs to spawn in and 6 more minibosses.
Currently there are 2 mini's and 1 main with 50+ cultists. This requires NESS and a modified script for the cultist spawns. You can however walk the map and spawn in anything you would like to check it out.

UPDATEFinished all the mobs for the entrance area with equipment. Uploaded 8 new SS with revised lighting and a few placeables that add a little something to the areas. I have a few more things that I want to drop in and the area is complete. Tomorrow I will upload the final version with all mobs/items. Then its on to 2 of 4. I will be doing the Guardian of Time and Aztur room next. I think that will be the main attraction as the drops will be something to really go after. It shouldnt take near as long as the entrance room for layout, but there are a great deal more mini-bosses in this area and those will be the bulk of the work. the last two will be pretty straight forward, but their layouts are much harder to duplicate.

Did some work today on getting the right look and feel for the rooms. They are almost completely empty in AO but I spiced them up a bit. I took a few SS and will upload them tomorrow. I just need to hammer out 10 mini-bosses, 1 boss, get the right spawn code from Lou for a few things, and lay down some WPs. After that the area is completed. That will be two areas down and two more to go.
It wont be making any deadline.
