I am most excited about Thug, and I think it is ready... I will be starting a new character to take advantage of this class as soon as it is available. I am trying to decide if I should take 10 levels of rogue so I can qualify for epic precision. I guess I should - sneak attacks are often pretty worthless without it. So 10 Rogue / 20 Thug sounds pretty good, but I'll have to play around a bit and decide if something else should go in as well (maybe dread commando?). Longer term I am looking forward to Songblade. Mostly cause Dordon is excited about it, and he seems to have good taste . Eldritch Spirit might be fun because Warlocks do need help (1 attack per round?!?). I am also somewhat interested in the penetrating shot feat, but sadly my archer lacks the strength to take it.

Mmmm....songblade. Though to be honest, I'm not sure how well a dual wield bard will work out on LDoA due to the difficulty/AC requirement. Which I guess just means I also need Warchanter so I can have Inspire Courage and Inspire Defense up at the same time I'm also quite looking forward to the Dread Fang, although Kaedrin hasn't allocated it to a release yet. Dread Fang lets you do a melee rouge build that gets epic precision, epic dodge, 26 BAB and HIPS. Not to mention it might help poison not suck. On the feat side of things, I'm looking forward to the Shadow Hand feats and melee weapon mastery. The Shadow Hand ones are particularly interesting because they will (theoretically) allow you to qualify for PrCs that require sneak attack damage without having to use one of your 4 class slots on a rogue class. Daggerspell Shaper I'm thinking of you. Not to mention my rogue dearly needs the extra damage that his dex bonus could provide.

Bone Knight looks like it could be interesting too.
I'm also eager to find out if either OEI or Kaedrin will implement the Daring Outlaw feat to go with Swashbuckler. (Daring Outlaw lets rogue and swashbuckler levels stack for determining sneak attack damage, and for the grace and AC bonuses on the swashbuckler side).

I will do Daring Outlaw if they don't. I doubt I do the Daring xxx (fighter feat) if they don't.
I'm going to be cleaning up my release plans this weekend and trying to account for SoZ. I've got 18 days before it comes out and getting all my stuff working with it is not going to be trivial.
I've come a long way since MotB considering I wasn't doing much OEI hooking last November.

Eldritch Glaive.
Incidentally, I suspect that 2 champion of the wild levels will do any dex build some good.

Champion of the Wild doesn't do much for a dual-wield dexer since it only grants dex bonus to damage with longsword, scimitar and rapier. Unless you're dual wielding rapiers I suppose...

I'll probably be tweaking Elegant Strike to be a bit more dual wield friendly. Right now it requires both weapons be one of the valid ones to get the bonus (because the bonus is applied to the character).
The change will be to apply the bonus to the weapon but that's a bit flakier (stacking rules) though it will allow you get get a bonus on your mainhand even if the offhand doesn't get it.

Elegant strike (at least in the initial single player update in my hands) was working in such a way that if you mainhanded a rapier and off handed a shortsword (thus presumably any other small/tiny weapon), both got the bonus.

Mmm, thanks, I'll fix it regardless for this weekends update.

I finished the work on the update so tomorrow I'll package it all up and upload it. There aren't very many fixes in it actually but bug fixes are bug fixes. I spent a LOT of time chasing issues that were only in a specific module.

something thats not getting a lot of notice is the summon enhancing feats. I noticed the +1d6 damage to summons attacks getting added here because of SoZ. Thats going to rock. I look forward to creating a summoner later on when the rest of the summoner feats are added in. With the Pale Master rebuilt the summons might be worth it with these feats making it a viable PRC. Great Work!

Summons are miserable on PWs - lag all over the place. Until OEI hires some network protocol engineers, I suspect your summoner is going to be a bust.

druid summoner with animal companion? shouldnt create all that much lag. I figure if there can be 50 chodes wandering around a map I can have two creatures killing them. Same basic AI routines. Its not like you control them all that well other than screaming hey stop that do this. But we will see.
