Hey K I noticed on my last three crits I received double the divine damage (supposed to be 5, was 10).
Not sure if this is intended or not.

Damage is doubled o crits by default, not sure he could prevent that even if he was so inclined.

Yeah but the supplimental damage from my adamantine weapon and the elemental runes doesn't double.

My understanding of what the engine does is this:
All constant, non-variable damage increases are affected by crits. All variable damage increases are not affected by crits.
So Holy Warrior, Inspire Courage, etc should by affected by crits. I don't like it, but that's following the established standard (and matches the books if I recall correctly).
Edit: Even if it didn't, there isn't anything I can do to tell the game "this can't crit." Nothing at all.

I have always been annoyed by the fact that my elemental damage doesn't get multiplied.
"Hey, I crit hit you with my acid coated sword." Is it not reasonable to think that the acid could have gotten some place where it did more damage? "Owwwwh! That acid splashed me in the eye!"
This is especially disappointing on worlds where you can get a weapon that does 20d6 of elemental damage (crit hit doesn't do much more damage than a regular hit).
Can elemental weapon be maximized? If so, does it get multiplied on a crit hit? If the answers to both questions are yes. I'll probably have to make yet another character. (Maybe one of my gish can already do this - must investigate...)

None of my spells that add random damage bonuses can be maximized or empowered. The only one that OEI/Bioware did that can be maximized (Flame Weapon) doesn't actually work (it ignores that and just adds the 1d8).
It's also not something I'm going to change.

This may not make a hell of a lot of sense, but my understanding (and this is only through observations whilst playing) is that the non-physical damage that is multiplied on a crit is character damage, rather than weapon damage.
To try and make a little more sense; any damage that is applied to all weapons wielded by the character, and that will last through weapon switches will multiply on a crit (such as DM/EDM, holy warrior, divine might, bard song etc), whereas damage that is buffed onto the individual weapon (such as flame weapon, sonic weapon, stormlord buffs) don't multiply on a crit.

I can't recall ever having a crit happen with a 1d6 fire bonus damage that was applied directly to the character.
It may be a combination of what you and I said though (non-random, character-based values can crit, nothing else can).
