So the self-concealment feat seems pretty cool, but the prerequisites for it are ridiculous: dexterity 30+, Hide 30, Tumble 30, improved evasion. The effect is 10% chance to miss automatically. The best part is "This feat may be taken multiple times, to a maximum of 50%."
So my question is how can I take this feat multiple times? I don't think you can reach 30 hide and tumble until level 27. I also don't think self-concealment appears on the fighter or divine champion bonus feat lists.
I figure the self-concealer starts with a dex of 20. He needs to get to 30 by level 27. He'll get 6 from level ups at that point which means he needs to use 4 epic feats on great dexterity. Unfortunately, he only has 3: levels 21, 23, and 25. Great dexterity is not on the bonus feat list for fighter or divine champion. This means he won't be able to take self concealment till level 29 (and he doesn't need the 4th great dex because he gets to 30 dex from his level 28 stat boost).
Considering the exceedingly difficult prereqs and the fact that you can only take the feat once (despite the descriptive taunts), a 10% concealment bonus is pretty meager.
Am I missing something?

Yes, the feat was designed in NWN1 where you have 40 levels to build with. There are a few feats that are virtually impossible to manage with only 30.

I'd say just use a swiftblade with undispellable haste/concealment, but if you want the feats, I remember seeing a build that got SC4.
Think it was something like 20 DEX to start with and ending with 25 at 20. You then go 10 SD/9 rog/1 of your choice till 20 and the rest rogue up to 30.
Use rog 10, level 21 bonus, level 23 bonus, rog 13, level 24 to reach 30 dex. Level 25'll be your only free epic feat, probably greater dex to even out your dex bonus at 28 (32 dex total). Level 27 bonus, rog 16, level 29 bonus, and rog 19 can all be used to get you self-concealment feats.
The person who posted the build said it isn't worth it though and I'd have to totally agree. Haven't seen an SC 5 build though. Not sure it can be done.

Thanks for the tip Shoujo! I'll try that in the trainer. I doubt the build will be very useful, but I was curious if it could be done. All those rogue levels and unable to take crippling strike to get epic precision with the one free epic feat... so sad 40s levels in NWN1 enabled some really cool builds. I miss devastating critical on my 13-20 (fuzzy memory is this the right range?) critical weapon master. Maybe there will be another expansion that will give us some more levels. I would pre-order to day for that feature alone.

There is no way to get SC5 that I can think of. You'd need 5 feats in 4 levels, and the bonus feats would have to be from a class that allowed you to pick SC.
And in NWN1 you could get a crit range of 10-20 because improved critical and keen stacked. So a weapon with a thread range of 3 x 3 + 2 for weapon master = a threat range of 11.

Yeah, I thought that threat range seemed lower than I remembered, but 10-20 just seemed impossible. Ah, the good old days.
