Donate would be a new goal type. and would have to be scripted in.

could just make a conversation with script that allows you to donate X,XX,XXX,XXXX and for each level of donation you get something such as a temp HP increase, temp spell cast on you, temp access to an area, and so on.

A new version is up. No new functionality but I wanted to change the format a bit so wanted to get it up there before people created too many quests. If you have work done in the old format I can create something convert it over later.

no, but it was put aside for actual content. I'm focusing on finishing it up and activating the plug-in part so I can use it for the quests I'm adding. Essentially, I'm t ired of fiddling with local vars on an object so this tool is for me as well

Plugin version is up. and fully functional (in a good way Quests can only be saved to waypoints, placeables or stores.

worry not Lou I will be back on low ping net soon and will start working on ToTW again. I have loads of things I want to do with it.
Any chance you have the add spawning, chain spawning, and all that done?

Ok, I'm changing the system again to make things easier. I'm going to be using bit flags and add the ability to use a prefix for the questkeeper.
prefix for primary goal: 0 = a 1 = the 2 = an 4 = blank
Prefix for keeper: 8 = a 16 = the 32 = an
Using bitflags allows me to specify both prefixes using a single value.
The quest builder will be updated in the next few days to reflect this.

Hey All, I am looking for someone who knows how the quest creation primer, hereafter knowns as QCP, works. I posit that I can make heads nor tails of said QCP so i should just write a short story perhaps giving enough info to create a quest? Perhaps even a Form, or spread sheet? If i can get a form with exact criteria ; quest giver, objective, conversation, area objective is located, % chance objective is found on keeper of objective. things like that i can fire out a few quests. Also if these forms take off i am sure alot of people who cant figure out why 100 = the or w/e will want to submit quests!

why don't you describe a quest or two that you are interested in creating and I'll see if I can put together a document using those descriptions on how you would create them in the quest creator.
Also, I could post put the existing quests in a zip file for download so you have examples to work with.

Sounds great i am working on a quest to introduce you to the collector . I will give you a brief outline:
The first time you talk to him hes mumbling. you cant for the life of you understand whats hes saying. It turns out that he has a "curse of tongues" cast on him and the only way to figure this out is to get a "potion of understanding" You will learn of this potion of understanding by speaking to the mages in the mage tower. You will learn of the mage tower by getting clues from the collectors pantomime. you could even throw in a few skill checks on the conversation if you like to speed up the "learning of the situation, basically its a quest where you need to kill chodes in the surrounding area. It will introduce pc's to the chode hole quest allowing the new pc to the area to have two quests one for a "drop" one for a kill count. It doesn't have to be an actual drop i assume it could just be after killing enough you have a chance that you will get the journal update. it will also help acquaint the pc with the area because once you find the mage tower you know where mirj is and the road out of town to the middle outpost. I'm also trying to think of a quest to help the pc find the Unrest mansion, as the quest giver in LE is kind of vague and there is no help on the map. perhaps something in the swamp a crate of arrows for the defenders of the POG outpost? you see they might not have the celestial store and would then have to run back to LE for arrows : )
anyway i hope this helps, and its fun so if you want more let me know i want to do more,
