help can't get files to update with worldgate

I got a big problem I got the latest version of world gate, and I've been trying to update files and I did find some manual files and installed them myself that the administrator put up..

But I'm guessing that wasn't enough because when I went online. It said it could not load the modular sundown trying to update it with world gate that says all I have left is 200 and some odd megabytes left download it works fine for a little while. But then on to bigger files like Eastport.TRX . It freezes up, and the program does not responding. It's almost like the file was so big that the system times out.

And it's just not that file either as I got past that a few times. But then it freezes up a number bigger file. So what I'm asking is, the know of any solution to this problem or is anyway I can download these files manually in this install myself.

Any help would be gladly appreciated as I really want to try out this world. But as is looking now I would just have to quit trying to download these files and find another world and.

If worldgate is timing out on you (you sure it's just not taking it's time downloading?) then your other option is the dedicated downloader. Just Click Here and select run.

Note that application is custom made and doesn't always refresh so it may appear to hang, but just let it be and it should download everything for you.

I think it is timing out, because it just says program not responding. One time I waited 30 minutes and it still does hung there. I found the files you put up before and I downloaded them and that was because when I had the first good that a lot of files in there and hang up a lot in our keep in all kinds errors.

So I would try what you put up right now, and I'll see how that goes.

I think it's working so far. I had a little trouble start the program to begin with side to reinstall that a few times. But now it looks like it's working two downloads are complete and they say items sync complete. I now just waiting for two more. The items.hak and the RoTWv334.pwc I'm guessing these are the two of the biggest, and that's why it's taken so long.

So when this is done I try to log into the server and if it lets me outpost back on here that I was successful and I can play now.

yeah I keep having problems to you may as well post the manual files, because every time he gets to finishing downloading the item.hak . The program either encounters an error, or I keep getting an error message, and it shuts down. I don't know what's wrong, could it be because I'm running Vista. So you males with us put up the manual files.

And on a side note, will I encounter this problem every time you update your server.

ok, here's a temporary location for the files. it's seperated into folders. the contents of the hak folder go int your my documents\neverwinter nights 2\hak directory, tlk in tlk and pwc in pwc.

As for whether or not you'll always run into this problem, I can't say. We host the files locally and sometimes the hosting machine gets bogged down, but many people are able to download successfully. In a month or two the in-game downloader will be released and we'll use the standard one. Hopefully it won't have any issues.

thank you thank you thank you I was able to log into the server but I have one question. Your character it how is he saved is he saved to the server or what I played other MMO's and all he had to do was log out is that how it works in never winter nights.

Players are stored on the server. His state is persisted when you rest, when a quest state is updated and when you log out. If you go for a long time without resting and/or questing, it is possible that you could lose some of your advancement.

If you right click and activate your spirit stone there should be an option to summon a save widget (under summon tools). Using this widget (you can hot bar it) will force a character save
