Well, I finally built a melee build that can kill junior skeletons without buffing (albeit at level 24 when they are worth 57 xp).
Hayden Binks is his name (mayhaps JarJar Christensen would have been better???). Here is how he works:
Air Genasi (need the favored class fighter and +2 DEX and +2 INT help him).
Initial Stats:
STR 14
DEX 20
CON 8
INT 14
WIS 6
CHA 10 (initially thought I was going to feint - changed my mind and this would be better spent on CON)
All stat increases go to DEX.
His class mix at 24 is 3 Swashbuckler, 7 Champion of the Wild, 9 Fighter, 5 Tempest.
The feats that I took (not in this order and probably includes some gained through various classes) are:
Luck of Heroes
Combat Expertise
Deadly Defense
Dodge
Greater Weapon Focus (rapier)
Greater Two Weapon Defense
Greater Two Weapon Fighting
Improved Combat Expertise
Improved Two Weapon Defense
Improved Two Weapon Fighting
Mobility
Spring Attack
Two Weapon Defense
Two Weapon Fighting
Weapon Finesse
Weapon Focus (Rapier)
Weapon Specialization (Rapier)
Perfect Two Weapon Fighting
Epic Weapon Focus (Rapier)
Naked AC is 23 jumping to 29 merely by equipping two plain rapiers.
He has the following LDoA equipment:
Natural AC Amulet +5
Headband of Intellect +6
Cloak of Fortification +5
Bracers of Dexterity +10 (two stat increase runes here)
Clothing +5
Sun Soul Boots +5 (UMD to use these)
Astral Rodent Charm
Ring HP +3 (why not?)
Troll Skin Belt (UMD to use this - he is not evil)
Dark Steel Rapier +2 with 1d6 Acid, 1d6 Cold, and 1 Electrical
Bezibila's Fang +2 Keen and On Hit Poison 1d2 STR DC 16
With this equipment, his AC jumps to 55. If he turns on improved expertise his AC becomes 64. Regular Expertise yields 61.
He fights skeletons without expertise. In this mode, his first AB is +41 (and he has two of those thanks to p2wf).
He has 219 HP.
He can beat the skeletons one at a time.
Strengths of this build:
STR (normal), DEX (Elegant Strike), and INT (Insightful strike) all add their bonuses to his damage. With the equipment he has this adds up to 4 + 13 +5 = 22 damage from stat bonuses.
He is a full 24 BAB at level 24.
His super dexterity means that he usually wins initiative (+13).
10 Attacks per round.
Can boost his AC for extended periods of time and deals extra damage when doing so (not that he can hit the Big Skelly very often).
Tempest Whirlwind is a fun crowd control measure - that extra 2d6 is helpful.
Weaknesses:
Much of his AC vanishes if he is caught flat footed or attacked with a touch attack.
No uncanny dodge to counteract the previous weakness.
AB is low compared to characters that can buff.
Overall, I am quite pleased with how this build turned out, but he is still not a practical build for farming the skeleton boss (or even gaining levels killing little skeletons). He is a useful tank for skeleton farming, but professionals in that field have no need for such an individual.
