Random Encounters/Populations

It might be fun to have:

[00] Areas of random encounters. Rangers should have an advantage here.

[01] Areas of Random populations, where the type of inhabitants change once the area is cleared out. Wipe out one monster population, another moves in.

[02] Competing populations. So as you kill one bunch, the other moves in. This works best for the more sociable monsters.

There are some random spawns (just a couple), if you haven';t found them welll.....more will come in time.

I've seen this sort of thing. Interesting but not sure it's worth the effort to create.
