I was working in the XP bar UI that was sent me and it needs to be updated whenever a character gains (or loses too I guess) experience)
Fortunately I long ago set-up the code so all XP gain is piped through a single function.
I was looking through the code and was confused by an XP bonus function I had there, I had to search all the code to remember what It was for.
Back in NWN1, the stone powers worked a little differently: 1) The user chose the stone power 2) They were all limited duration bonuses to things like AB or AC 3) They were ranked, and you could choose a power multiple times to obtain higher ranks and greater bonuses. 4) Ran via converstion.
The XP Bonus code was a stone power a player could choose where, for a certain amount of XP based on level and rank, the player would gain double XP (usable once per day as all the other powers).
heh, forgot all about the old stone powers, figured I'd throw out my musimgs.

This sounds pretty neat, but "4) Ran via coverstion." does not sound like the most convenient implementation. Especially, if I wanted to activate my double xp bonus in the middle of a long drawn out boss fight (e.g. witchy is finally going to fall - time to activate my xp bonus feat).

Am I missing anything if I say that sound like a nice quest? Defeat the boss and you learn how to adventure better as a fluff.

Hence the reason I went with feats in this version. The old one system had the benefit of not requiring any haks or tlks (I had no files to download in our NWN1 world), but lacking the ability to activate the feat under duress was a serious detriment.
