Just checked the wikia. Apparently, Storm Avatar does not have an extra attack. Same test as the last, this time I used Frenzy in addition. The extra attack was there.

That makes sense for the Stormlord stuff to not work as the constant for Base_Item_Spear would no longer be valid.
Since the weapon shows up with the model correctly in game it looks like the weapon focus is the easiest next step to test. Copy/paste the existing Weapon Focus Spear line to a new line and delete(replace with padding the original one). Change the weapon focus column of the base items to the new weapon focus ID and see if you get a +1 when equipping the new spear blueprint. If so it's all good to go.

Alright, did just that and made a new half-orc gruumsh cleric in my test mode. HE didn't get weapon focus spear automatically. Leveled him to level 3 where I gave him weapon focus spear. He had 6AB without the new spear in hand and 7AB with the spear equiped. Probaly need to change the deity 2da to get the feat granted at level 1.

Looks like it's good to go then. Unless they hard coded a specific feat (specialization, epic specialization etc) to not work the whole thing looks greenlit to add new weapons.

I can do the supporting feats/tlk work done pretty quickly if he wants to get the baseitems row in a final state. That's the long pole in the tent now that the testing of the stages is done.

I can get baseitems done today, I suspect. Then I'll futz with the blueprint I guess. We only have one pick model but there are three in D&D: light, heavy, and dire. But, the models cannot be scaled in the toolset. Or, I just didn't see how.

Alright, I copied then modified all the hand axe, battle axe, and dwarven war axe entries in baseitems .2da and set all the non-tlk properties in baseitems to their book values or left them alone. There is one property in particular whose values I do not know, WeaponsMatType. Handaxe has 17. Battle Axe and Dwaxe have 16.
I have the feats all lineup in a separate 2da for the copy/paste. I haven't touched any tlk entries.

yeah I looked and didnt see no scaling nothing. would need Jester to increase the size of the model and make a second to have a two handed version. Or someone else that knows something about working in blender or like program.

I imagine scaling an entire model shouldn't be the most difficult thing to do. I guess the textures would scale the same amount.

can you tint the pick? I didnt think to ask that.
being about to tint the handle seperate from the metal head and seperate again from the ornamental stuff would help some with getting varients.

I have the baseitem, feat, and tlk entries done in their own files. They're not all hooked up because that's something Kaedrin has to do, unless he tells me what numbers to put in for line numbers and tlk entries. Everything is lined up continuously.
Now, the blueprint, model, texture renaming.
