I have a problem when I log in. I logged in once (couple hours later) and it put me where I logged off, right where the desert jackles were. I cleared them before I logged off, and when I usually log back on it puts me near my bind spot. Well needless to say I logged back in into the middle of a group. This was horrible since I had no spells and couldn't rest, I logged off for a while (few more hours) hoping this would fix the problem. Just a few minutes from this post (4:00pm) I logged back on and was surrounded once again by the jackles, pack leaders, den mothers, etc... but it saved my health state from last time, and I died this time. I don't know what to do, and I don't know if this is a glitch or a bug, but it would be nice if it could get fixed as soon as possible. It makes leveling a littler harder when you get unintentional debt.

The server will always put you where you log out except when the server restarts. After a server restart, the first time you log in it puts you at your bind spot.
Always log out in a safe location (and never in an instance zone).

Always log out in a safe location (and never in an instance zone). I never knew that, I guess the server restarts quite a lot since 95% of the time I was at my bind location. And anytime I was where I logged off I thought it was a glitch.

The server seems to average three restarts a day but it's not unknown for it to go days,., even a week now and again, without coming down.

Is there a way to tell how long it's been up?

Yeah, there's a running timer along the top of the NWN2server console.

Since this problem occured with Tela being broken and trying to login, one of my newer characters, Dente seems broken as a result of this now too. Upon logging in after a server crash, Dente appeared without a name as a level 1 CE Barbarian, not the level 5 that he is. I am reluctant to actually try logging into him in this state.

Hmm, are the toons backedup? Now might be a good time for that.

Haven't been backed up in quite a while. I've been remiss in that.

Lou, did you change the ARCs? Might this be causing all the login/bic corruption problems, if you did change the ARCs?

Nope, no change has been made live.
