I already gave Lou my first prefab set and Im working on more. The latest is an Arquebus. I worked out some background reasoning for why it fires bolts. Still looking to put more into it.

Why not bullets/stones? Or energy balls?

well I think we can change the base item if we do some renaming. but then we are going to have to use the sling as a base item to use bullets. And 1d4 just doesnt seem like enough.
Not opposed to the idea though. I could always add some kind of damage bonus or something. the only issue with that is NwN2 limits the number of enhancements an item can have. Its something like three properties or something.

also to note I came up with a better naming system for my weapons and armor. mmt_(creator of models name)_(item type)_(number used for model)_(item number based on how many items have been made IE ifI have 2 the next in line with be 3)
mmt_sunsilk_heavyshield_155_1

Isn't that too long for a Resource Name? IIRC, resource names cannot be as long as template resref, about 16 chars for the res name. It totally messed up my naming conventions, bastards. 16 chars, who comes up with these ideas?!

I didnt know there was a limit. It didnt stop me or remove characters. Its more to keep them straight in my head than anything else. d**n I thought I really had a plan too.

I'm not sure if there are character limits like NWN1 had but it's always a good idea to put the uniquely identifying characterstics first:
i.e. MMT_155_1_sunsilk_hvyshield.

Ill swing them around and do that. I might rename all prefabs I have done to this point and update the pack. I figure once done you wouldnt need to update the existing items already put into the world. It would just dub up on a few.

IIRC, I was typing the res ref and it was appearing in the resource name automatically in addition. But the resource name would truncate after so many characters and the res ref would not.
