Hi! Just started playing here, and liking what I see, so far...especially the implemention of other PrC's.
I just got a small issue with the Swiftblade, in the (in game) describtion it says that SB gets martial and all armor proficiencies. It doesn't. I dont know the PnP background, so I can't tell if the describtion is wrong or the feats are missing.
Anyway, I hope it's the feats that are missing, otherwise I gonna need 2 more feats for my spellsword build :-)

I believe the in-game description is wrong. I hopped over to kaedrin's PrC site and the description there says it gets no weapon or armor proficiencies.

Kaedrin confirmed that the in game description is wrong. He said it would be fixed in his next release.

Yeah, a number of text descriptions got a good scrubbing this time when folks found the discrepancies. I'll double check this again to make sure it's fixed in the 1.32 stuff. I'm down to the last stuff on 1.32 now so it won't be long.

Ok, although "technically" the "official" line is that we're waiting on Kaedrin's release There is still plenty of work I have to do. I'm actually glad he's taking a little longer (and I'm certainly not pressuring him to work faster) as I get to pretend I haven't been slacking

hahaha I know the two of you are working harder than I do. Im just looking forward to this weekends releases. the REAL build is coming folks. 1.33 brings this Forest Master PRC thats going to rock the foundations. nwn2customcontent.wikidot.com/forest-masterHes kind of like a Pale Master in that he becomes a new subtype and since its Plant its a lot like undead with the immunities, but the real power here is its divine. Now if you take 6 sorc/5 cleric/10 RDD/9Forest Master you get some powerful melee with divine castings at caster level 14 with 6 sorc so you get all the low level buffs that come with the arcane side of things. It could replace the bard/pm/rdd build Im working on right now. Divine spells AND bonus stuff for using a warmace.

A level 9 Forest Master gets +7 to caster levels for divine classes. They don't get an advancement at 4th and 8th level. That would give you level 12 cleric casting. You also need a 8 survival.

Probably not the right place to ask this, but why is survival not a class skill (at least according to the link MMT posted) of FM if they need 8 as a prereq? Survival is obviously important to them. Survival seems more relevant to them than the crafting skills. This might be PnP related (I only have 1st edition materials so I wouldn't know). Do they lose their interest in or their need for survival once they become a FM?

thats a good point. other than survival being completely useless ingame it should still be a class skill for them.
still an amazing class. even if its just 12th level casting + 5th arcane you are a serious powerhouse with bonus str, bonus damage, natural AC, feat fighter feats(weapon bonus feats so you dont have to get them), and even with the 50% fire damage if you have RDD levels you become immune to fire! I mean d**n thats just all around amazing.

Survival is a NWN1/2 skill and I missed it when putting it in the description. I'll update that now.
PnP skill requirements are 13 Wilderness Lore, 4 Intuit Direction, and 8 Nature Knowledge (none of which exist in NWN2). PnP also required the Skill Focus: Wilderness Lore.
So I went with 13 Lore, 8 Survival, and changed Skill Focus: Lore to Weapon Focus (since they are centered around their maul/warmace).

Are the str bonuses for Forest Master added to your base (ala RDD) or are they really an enhancement bonus that won't stack with str enhancement items?

Unless I choose to grant the Epic Ability Increases I can only do Enhance bonuses. It *should* get them as passive increases.
I'm still trying to decide which way to go with that. Granting 6 epic stat increases (4 str, 2 con) seems... excessive on top of everything else the PrC has. Enhance bonus is fairly weak (but always on so no buffing/item slots needed). There is no middle ground.
