Thinking of making a melee Gish - as in Wizard/EK/Swiftblade maybe....
I'm wondering what are the pros and cons of both strength and dex build for the above type. Should I go armor + Still Spell or or just concentrate on Dex and wear light or no armor at all.

No one has any advice yet?
Your request is still vague. I was going to point out a nice two-weapon rapier build that I did but not sure what you are going for, really.
As an arcane gish you will most likely be wearing light or, more likely, no armor so i'd go dex. And the best weapon is probably rapier, for that. But I guess I never tried still-spell build. There is a +5 wizard robe to be found on the server though.
The main problem will be that uncanny dodge doesn't work, so dex-based ac is at a disadvantage post level 20.
In other news, Ads by Google wants to help with gish builds, as listed above: webcrawler.com/tavern_menuGish Huge selection, great deals on Gish items. Yahoo.com rofl

Why hasn't that Smashing Pumpkins record shown up yet? Or Lillian? Or Maga Maria?

Smashing Pumpkins LOL! used to really like those guys . . . and yeah, that add is funny As far as gish advice goes, Wizard/EK/Swiftblade is good but AC is king so consider a build with a Mithril Heavy shield and maybe adding some fighter lvls

I like paladin 4/ sorc 6/ swb 10 / ek 10. Good saves and divine shield. Biggest problem is the slow advancement of BAB.

What is the best +Con item you can get/find?

+6, IIRC, then you add the +2 ability score rune for +8.

There are two +2 ability score runes available. So you could get +10. In many cases, getting additional points of STR, DEX, or your primary casting stat are more useful.

My first character on this server was a very successful Gish: wiz/fighter/swiftblade/bladesinger
The AC of bladesinger combined with a mithril breastplate gives him an AC higher than what you could get with a full plate/tower shield + epic still spell build.
However, he really can't deal with the epic content all that well. His defense is great, but offense is sorely lacking. AB is lacking and damage is rather pathetic compared to any of the divine power and/or holy warrior builds.

Not for a Dragonfire Adept. Con is king.

I think anything Swiftblade will have a good chance of success here (undispellable 50% concealed Freedom haste).
This is one server where you really need to plan builds ahead of time and get your feats/level progression/skill choices/class choices outlined beforehand. From what I've read, generally you want AC in the mid to high 60's, AB in the mid to high 50's, and as much non-elemental melee damage as possible since epic mobs have elemental resists. I have a spreadsheet full of builds with level spread, starting stats, BAB, caster level, and AC/AB/damage calculations after buffing & expected magic items/runes.
I actually have more fun working on builds in the spreadsheet than playing, lol.

Defense is king. A Joe Average type fighter with imp combat expertise works until epic levels or so. FB, DwD , and RDD are helpfull. WM is expensive.
