Looks like these are selling like hotcakes. I don't think there's one left anywhere. Will have to pre-order one, I guess.

only thing i can add is a warning, make sure your mother board will do ati's in crossfire, and not nvidea's in sli. Most MB's will do either as a singel card, but wil only do one or the other when cross linked. It all depends on what northbridge/southbridge chip set they used. If they used an nvidea chipset, then it will do sli, but not crossfire. And vice-versa if they used an ati chipset, then it will do crossfire but not sli. So before you buy that new card with hopes of crossfireing it someday, make sure it has an ati chipset.

It is crossfire, cause I built it but thanks, man. I bought the nVidia cause it was the best deal at the time, but had left the possibility of going crossfire in then future. Looks like I lucked out with the right one this time. If they'd just hurry up and make another one and send it to my house! Yeah, still might not do crossfire, it's a possibility. I wanted to 'future-proof' this comp when I built it. It can hold a quad processor and more ram and all of that, but nowadays things come and go so quick that there isn't much future-proofing to be had. I predicted that the PCIe x16 slot would change and sure enough they're on 2.0 now. The trick is to quit buying new games.

I had one of these on pre-order @ Amazon, but one popped up on Newegg today so it's mine. Cancelled the pre-order.

Are you sure your PSU can handle that (esp in crossfire)? Not sure what the efficiency of yours is, but some are poor. Spring for a new PSU and play it safe

Well, it's in and I love it. Test Drive Unlimited Online with a server full of people, optimal texture setting, 16x ani, 4x aa, medium details, HDR enabled, 1680x1050 res, 45 to 65 FPS, on my system. Oblivion, 16x/4x HDR enabled, about 60 fps. Fallout3 Ultra high settings. 8x/4xaa HDR runs 40 to 60 fps.

Wow, didn't realize how cheap that card is. For the price you should crossfire, if you can find another one that is. Then let's see some benchmarks

Yeah, was $99, but they added $10 to most of them after I got one, and I knew they would. They are really selling like hotcakes. I guess those would be the best FPS's possible, you know it slows more when all of the magic and stuff starts flying. But for the $100 range it's amazing. If it had a 256-bit Bus it would be much much better. I guess it can play NWN2 with almost maxed settings at around 40 fps, but the cruel battlefield and those storm spells slow it down to 20 or less with high settings. Basically, I wanted to know that it would be much better than that 8600gt, and be able to play those newer games I have with HDR on, and it does a good job. I'm satisfied for $100! As for crossfire, I guess there are newer motherboards out where the PCI-E slots run in an 8x/8x speed for each card, but mine is 16x and 4x, so dunno how it would be. They've already upgraded to 2.0 PCI-E and a new Windows coming out (retail) soon and other new stuff, all the time. Who knows if i'd ever try to run two of these or not. I used to not be able to play Fallout3 because, when entering VATS, it would slow to sub-10 fps'es. Now, with higher settings than before it does about 40 fps in VATS and is completely playable now.
