Don't know where the thread was on this.
I wanted to inform you that the random loot (green named items) as well as Alakae's robe are not changeable with the mirror. Is it possible to have this corrected?
Otherwise, i'm so glad we are able to change the look of attuned items.
We need to discuss this thing you mentioned too, about less-invasive buffs or something. So we don't all look like glowing color balls running around.
I'm certainly for anything that allows us to customize the look of our characters. The buffs play a role too, as they can drastically change the look/concept you have going for your character.

Not sure why the random loot isn't customizable. That doesn't make sense to me. Are you sure?
Alakae's robe is a different matter. It's the lore thing. I think I have it worked out so it should be changeable as well.
The loosening of appearance change rules opens up some possible exploits. First occurance of this happening the appearance changer goes right back to original restrictions and that account becomes open for un-consentual PvP so the players can take out their wrath.

I'll ask, but I don't have much hope...
Can we change the appearance on the legendary monk robes? The female version in particular looks pretty yuck. It currently gives a message about the base armor not being found.

Beldar - you are probably one of the few who still have that legendary monk robes floating around at this point . . .

Just to add to this thread - greater monk robes are not able to be changed either. When using the mirror the error message "vn_base Error: base armor value not found" is shown. And those robes for humans are pretty ugly too

Having attained true death of the ego, monks should not concern themselves with mere appearances. Perhaps you are really a cleric in monk's clothing?

David Carradine had some monk robes in Kung Fu. No word on his Bangkok attire... (NOTE: if you have word on it, please do not share)
