Crashing in an instance, buff rod request

1) Crashing, possibly with dying (wasn't dead at the moment I crashed), in Mirh resulted in spawning in dead and going from 0 debt to 6100 debt. Seem to recall reading about something like this before, but I thought it was fixed.

2) Maybe I'm just really lazy, but is there any chance the buff rod could be restructured so that casting on the rod twice makes a buff extended and casting three times makes a buff persistent? Extended and persistent are the most frequently used metamagics, so the less clicking, the better IMO. I know storing multiple persistent spells on a rod can be a serious pain.

Yeah, I have seen multiple people report problem 1 that Shoujo is seeing (although they only go 1 death worth of debt).

Number 2 seems like a worthwhile change, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lou isn't just incrementing some counter that he doesn't have any control over.

#1 happened to me in Mirh crashed in intial transition, didnt die but came back with 2600 xp debt (but was only lvl 24 at the time) wondering if the new areas can be changed to how it works with the 3 started dungeons now?

1) I can add a transition only flag to Mirh, but I need to clean things up there first. Seems like it's cauising a lot of issues.

2) That shold be doable, less straightforward I suppose but doable. Post it on that "completion" thread on the main forum so I don't forget.
