What happens if I have energy immunity acid cast when the cube eats me? They digest pretty slow as it is. Do I need a friend to come rescue me? Or do I have to wait for the spell to wear off?
The cubes are awesome, btw!
That zone is neat, but I think the required saves are a bit unreasonable for the targetted level. I took Beldar in there. He is 19 (right in the wheelhouse of the targeted difficulty range). He has a 14 fortitude, 14 reflex, and 10 will save. Build is currently 6 ftr, 1 bard, 5 rdd, 7 wm. A pretty typical melee pounder. To survive the myconid stun DC of 30 he needs to roll a 20. Repeatedly.
Maybe it is yet another caster only zone? I guess a paladin or favored soul (a caster) might have enough saving throws to survive.

The cubes do bludgeoning damage as well as acid so you'll likely die eventually.
I'm still dialing in the difficulty of the zone. DC30 stun seems unreasonable.

took a lvl 19 monk 2/cleric 7/ SF 10 there - 1st time there and the toon did just fine. Its likely cause its a cleric build but has this zone been modified? it seems that it could use a few more mobs - there are rooms that are empty - not sure it that was intended, ie. - the mobs were thinned out since this thread was started many months ago because it was too tough b4 for noncasters. . .
That being said, its a nice xp bridge between West Barrens and epic spiders for non-mages.
EDIT: went thru it again, Mobs only spawning in ~ 1/4 of the map (only spawning in the NE quadrant) was this always the case? or did 1.23 do this?
