dag nabit!
Seems people are all experiencing strange issues with the update. fire orbs instead of ice orbs and tempest WW being poison? I didnt see those in the fix log for this update anyway.

My 1.33.3 update (patch 1.21) is up. It supports the 1.21 patch but not SoZ (still a work in progress).

Eh, that was just to the 1.21 patch. SoZ is going to be a LOT more involved.

What exactly changed K? and is it required. i.e. do I need to take the latest stuff you posted to update the server to the 1.21 patch?

Without recompiling against 1.21 all of the EffectDamageIncrease calls become vs Dwarves as a racial type (new param in 1.21).
The appearance.2da added a new column as well so the beholder/Yuan-ti would likely have problems. Or might not. I'm not sure how it would handle a 2da without the right number of columns.
There are no fixes in my stuff, just the adjusted appearance.2da, recompiled scripts, and I added their icon changes to the spells/feats.2da (trivial and not important).
Recompiling was the big thing.

Seems simple enough (since I recompile everything anyway). The only issue will be the spells/feats.2da since those require I merge mine(d**nit, I need to build a tool to do my updates)

so does this mean wait to install SoZ for playing on the server with your 1.21 update or will SoZ work fine on the server as long as we use the 1.21 update? I dont want to screw myself here.

You will screw yourself if you install *OR* patch to 1.21 before he updates the server. 1.21 changes a lot (nwscript changes, some 2da changes) and isn't compatible with 1.13 code on a few things. You could always make a copy of your entire installation, patch up/install SoZ, and switch between copies of the install. EG depends on how much they changed the invocations compared to what I have done and how time goes. I asked for folks to test a couple things on my forums and it hasn't happened so I'll be spending time testing reported issues (my responsibility, I'm not blaming anyone simply mentioning that consumes a lot of time) as well. I still have script comparisons/mergers, bug testing/fixes, and integrating the new content from backups. Then I have to make a MP version (which is going to take a while due to the feats.2da changes. They added *8* new columns. Btw, feats that require a specific alignment are now possible (limited to when you can take it, not when you can use it).
