I like to make play around with different classes/builds and not all of them are designed to power through the world. Certain classes (warlock comes to mind) have real difficulty at different stages/levels.
I think it would be cool if a couple of us could roll up new characters expressely for the purpose of adventuring together at some set time. This will give us more options about what kind of characters we can build.
What do you say? Anyone up for a formal date/time/party or do we like to keep things open and just grab whoever is on?

I'm up for this as well. The only problem on my end is that the only time i know I'll have free is on Sundays, with the possible exception of this coming one. I should be able to shout out my schedule for the week then though if people want to adventure more than once a week. I'm on PST by the way.
Besides, odds are I'm going to make a new soon enough anyway. Why not give it a purpose?

This sounds like an excellent idea to me. I like to play rogues, but they are generally helpless by themselves. Lately, my schedule has not been too bad, but sometimes I have to disappear for stretches. I would propose a time, but it seems like the time that I am most confident of being able to appear (Friday evenings) is when the fewest people are on. Maybe Saturday mornings? Maybe the left coasters ought to sort out the time - I would hate to try to drag them out of bed at 5am on Saturday . I also propose that we officially make the rule, "No pestering Lou during party time." In other words, he should be able to play without having to worry about updates or fixing problems. We probably should also try to avoid stocking the characters up with uber-equipment. It takes some of the challenge out of it when the level 1 characters have AC 30.

challenge? what challenge? I dont see no challenge!
Yeah and Lou hasnt had the benefit of being a hardcore player to gather up all those nifty twink items yet.

I'd be interested in making a new character for an adventuring party like this.
I'll keep an eye out for when the time is set and can probably change my schedule to be able to join in on the fun.

I have a pair of level 6s waiting to play with a group that doesn't twink the fun out of the game and doesn't play recklessly.
EDIT: One is a level Strongheart Halfling Wlk06 and the other is a Dwarf Fgt04/src01/rdd01. And the best times are during the weekends.

So someone show some leadership and set a time? Oh, I should do it? How about Saturdays at 10am Pacific time (wouldn't want them to have to roll out of bed to early). That would 11am Mountain, Noon Central, and 1pm Eastern. I will not try to give international times because there are too many time zones out there in the rest of the world. I also will not try to explain daylight savings time here - it varies by states (not all of them implement it). If you can logon at 1pm New York time on Saturday, you'll at least find me. Except this Saturday, when I am busy with a project for work . Maybe there could be multiple parties, if the time I proposed, is bad? We should also try to get a decent balance to our party. I would like to play a roguish type, but will play something else if we are short.

But you haven't asked the most important question....
What will our name be? No respectable party can adventure without a name:
Order of the Crimson Hamster Lou's Laments Friends of the Forestmaster Not So Nice Thugs

I figured the name battle could start once we were in game...
I am just hoping the name is not Frurry's Chickens.
