I was thinking something more like "werewolf? thats not a d**n class its a template you get when your bit by the F**King things... Why not develop a werewolf script to apply a template instead of making real classes take a back seat to good usable classes like... eldritch spirit!"
And then I felt a little better.

There is a 9 level class version of it where your powers progression as you level up in it. The first 3 levels are general lycanthropy changes and the last 6 are for improving the animal/hybrid form.

I went to the site and he didn't have elemental archer or storm caster as a choice so in their place I chose Swash Buckler and Marshal, just two base classes. But I would rather see the elemental archers and storm casters instead.

Werewolf can be found here: www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040117aWerewolf + Werewolf Lord = 9 level prc Elemental Archer is going to be in 1.33 along with Forest Master Regardless of what is chosen. I had to cut the list from 45 to 30 to get it on NWVault which is why some were cut (low popularity ones or prcs that would require more work than normal).

so its the template + werewolf lord. I understand how it works now that the lord prc is on the end of it. template 1-3 lord 4-9. so its not a base class at all and anyone will be able to progress into a werwolf and werewolf lord. Still think it should be a template, because werewolf isnt the only kind of lycanthropes out there. maybe if there was a feat per shape and you get to take 1 of these feats witch dictated witch kind you were. Werebear, Werewolf, Weretiger, Wererat, Weredragon, ect. Not sure thats real balanced since they have different ECLs and Adjusted HD, but then atleast it would be a complete package. Then again the workload for that would raise per weretype to include atleast 1 feat.

The problem is lack of models. We only have the werewolf in NWN2 and lets be honest, it's a were-fox. As soon as Ree releases his version of the Werewolf I'll be using that model.
If I really thought we were going to get more models then I could change it to a Lycanthrope base class and have which one chosen at level 1. Upside/Downside to this is that all lycanthropes will get the same stat bonuses from 4-9 since I can't do my own stat increasing feats and I can't alter the epic feats to add prereqs (such as which animal it is). Makes it fair and balanced for all forms but not really correct.
Most of the other forms I saw had 6 level "end" classes as well. Dire Boar was 6 levels, Dire Bear was 6 levels. So those two would be 9 level prcs as well.

yeah the prc classes for were creatures are pretty much the same. the base creatures all have different ECL and HD adjusts based on the creature their were form is from. like rat is the easiest to get as its a 1 HD adjust and thus only a 3 ECL total. weretigers have something like 5HD adjust making them a 7 ECL and so on and so forth for the different kinds.
Lack of models seems to be a huge issue right now but the guy working on converting NwN1 models to NwN2 already released the rust monster and hes about to release the basilisk witch apparently he spells baslik I believe he called it.
Maybe at some point in the future new shapes could be added with a feat selection. Dont know how to do that really, but Im sure you have a plan in place. That is kind of your area of expertise after all.

I'm closing this out Friday the 6th so if you haven't voted here, the bioware forums, or on my own forums please do so. If you voted on NWVault but not on the 3 mentioned, please do so on one of these 3.
